As a Central Florida local, Pete Glim understands the needs of homeowners and and also knows the type of roofing products that work best in this climate. Pete works tirelessly to provide exceptional quality AND value to each and every one of his customers – whether it is for a simple roof repair or a full roof replacement. With over 20 years of experience in the roofing industry, Pete’s attention to detail is among the best of local roofers, and he proudly stands by the quality of his work.

As a way to ensure quality, Glim’s Roofing does not utilize subcontractors, but instead is proud to have an excellent team of well-trained and knowledgeable employees who are equally as passionate about quality and professionalism as Pete.

In addition to owning and operating Glim’s Roofing, Pete is a proud Sergeant with the Sumter County Sheriff's Department. In his free time he enjoys being with his wife, Shannon, and his three children.

What type of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, or all major credit cards. Credit card payments are subject to a transaction fee.

What brand roofing materials do you use?

CertainTeed and Owens Corning products are our go-to for materials. We are happy to discuss more specifics during your site visit.

What is the timeline for a roof replacement?

The first step on your roof replacement is scheduling a free quote. After this, once you decide to move forward, materials will be ordered and we will work around your schedule to find the best time to begin work. Once we start, we typically finish within 1-4 days depending on the scope of work.

Do you install soffit, fascia, or gutters?

We do install soffit and fascia. We do not install gutters. However, we have developed great relationships with companies that do provide gutter services and are happy to share their information with you.

How do I know if I need a new roof?

If there is any question of if you need a new roof or not, contact us and we will come and give you an honest assessment of the condition of your roof.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we are fully licensed and insured.

Will you replace rotten wood?

If we find any damaged or rotten wood during a roof repair or replacement, it will be removed and new wood will be installed per proposal terms.

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Yes, we offer a 5 year workmanship warranty and a manufacturer's warranty.
